Abstract
"This paper proposes to examine the emergence and dissemination of regional public policies for Rural TerritorialDevelopment –RTD– in Latin America. We hypothesize the existence and spread of a specific Latin American modelof RTD policy. The methodology is based on the application of a common matrix analysis of RTD programs policymaking in several countries and the examination of its application in four countries: Argentina, Brazil, Chile andUruguay. The paper concludes that there is a hybridization mechanism of both the theoretical and methodologicalframework as the modalities of regional dissemination and national implementation of these policies RTD"
