Résumé
The essential oils obtained from seeds and leaves of Aframomum pruinosum Gagnepain from Cameroon have been analyzed by GC and GC/MS. Both samples are completely different; while the leaf oil contains almost similar percentages of mono- and sesquiterpenoids (β-pinene, 31.4%; β-caryophyllene, 25.8%), the fruit oil is characterized by more than 90% of (E)-(R)-nerolidol.
