Résumé

3-octanol Achyrospermum africanum essential oil composition Labiatae α-cubebene
The hydrodistilled essential oil of Achyrospermum africanum Hook. from Cameroon was analyzed by capillary GC and GC/MS. Thirty-one components representing 95.8% of the oil were characterized. The major constituents of the oil were found to be α-cubebene (34.2%), α-santalene (9.1%) and 3-octanol (15.6%).
