Résumé
Oils obtained from two samples of Tithonia diversifolia flowers were examined by GC/MS and retention indices. Of the twenty-one compounds characterized α-pinene (50.8-61.0%), (Z)-β-ocimene (15.5-21.4%), limonene (5.4-6.4%) and p-mentha-1, 5-dien-8-ol (3.9-6.1%) were found to be the major constituents. The composition of the flower oil was found to be similar to the leaf oil of this species.
