Abstract
In this study, we look at the typical colour of objects as knowledge by perception. In Experiment 1, the Stimulus Onset Asynchrony (SOA) set at 350 ms. We observe a priming effect for the colour but not for the category. In Experiment 2, after increasing the time elapsed between the beginning of the presentation of the primer and the beginning of the presentation of the target (i.e., pushing the SOA from 350 ms to 700 ms), we obtain a priming effect for the two types of links. The main result of this study is the priming effect obtained, irrespective of the SOA, when the drawing of a primer and of a target are of congruent colour.
