Dynamic Systems producing monoterpene gas mixtures are important tools in plant emission and air chemical studies. A simple open tube diffusion technique, suitable to generate realistic monoterpene concentrations (lower ppb-range), is presented. The technique has been successfully used to set up a laboratory test atmosphere as well as to apply internal monoterpene standards in large plant enclosure chambers. Performance and some applications of the technique are discussed.
