Abstract
The genus Israelius Richards, 1952 comprises two species. We describe here after a new species, Israelius persicus Lotfalizadeh sp. nov., for which we provide illustrations of the external features. The morphology of this species is compared to previously known species and a key to species of Israelius is provided.
