Résumé
Diabetes, a modern-day disease, affects more than half a billion people worldwide. It is a serious chronic disease with many complications. Heart, kidney and dyslipidemia are often added to this disease. Current therapies allow to best regulate the progression of this pathology and to keep a normal blood glucose. In 2020, FORXIGA® (dapagliflozine) was launched in France. After proving its worth in diabetic patients, it saw its indications being extended to patients suffering from chronic kidney disease as well as cardiac insufficiency. We have decided to evaluate the impact of dapagliflozine, promising molecule, on glycemic variability in patients affected by type II diabetes on basal bolus insulin.A study on retrospective biological data was conducted on the patients of a liberal endocrinologist’s surgery. The results show a change in target time (TIR) but do not allow to conclude in a change in the glycemic variability coefficient.
