Cerebral palsy (CP) is the main cause of motor impairment in children. Spinal disorders occur in more than 50% of patients with CP. But there are still poorly known in sagittal plane and especially in non-walking patients. We propose to make an inventory of the knowledge on the sagittal balance of children with CP. The lack of data in the literature and the absence of recommendations on the follow-up of the spine in children for whom the functional position is sitting, has led us to establish a clinical trial protocol. Our study “SPS-PC” aims to investigate the sagittal spino-pelvic alignment in sitting position in poor and non-walking children with CP (GMFCS III, IV and V). Thereby, we wish to include all the poor-walking and non-walking children with CP followed in the PMR Department, Paediatric Unit, CHU de Nîmes, University of Montpellier. These children will have the annual whole spine radiography in standardized conditions, established for our study. In order to standardize the realization of sitting radiography. Then, we will study the spino-pelvic parameters to assess the sagittal spino-pelvic balance in sitting position by age in poorwalking and non-walking children with CP.
