Résumé
The droguier is a dynamic centre for a wide range of cultural and educational activities. Its collection contains more than 10,000 plant, mineral and animal samples. It comes in the form of jars, hand-crafted botanical plates and phytotherapy recognition boxes. These boxes were the subject of our thesis. They are a real teaching tool, but have been abandoned for almost 50 years. Our aim was to restore and digitise them in order to create a digital catalogue accessible to everyone. It was a rigorous and meticulous job, carried out with a view to bringing these boxes back to life so that they could be used in teaching in the years to come. One plant caught my eye. In this day and age, people are talking more and more about the problems of antibiotic resistance and regulating the use of antibiotics. Mountain savory, whose Latin name is Satureja montana L., is a plant widely grown in the Mediterranean basin with a broad antibacterial spectrum. It represents a promising alternative for alleviating these problems. What's more, it has many other properties that have yet to be fully exploited. I wanted to study its advantages and limitations in my pharmacy practice.
