Résumé
To understand the dynamics of vegetation and management that man makes of its environment, it is necessary to look to the past. For this, it is essential to have reliable tools in hand. The anthracology, study of carbonaceous residues, allows a quantitative and qualitative approach of past environments. The anthracology that is particularly interested in historical charcoal kilns, must have a reliable methodology. How can we hope to understand the loss of information of that tool, if not by producing a current experimental charcoal kiln, where we can control all the factors involved? We report, in this present thesis, the work that allowed us to provide solutions to improve the methodology for the reconstruction of past environments thanks to the anthracology of charcoal kilns.
