Résumé
In recent years, the profession of community pharmacist has been undergoing rapid change. Indeed, the role of the pharmacist today is no longer limited to the simple delivery of medications. However, a plethora of patients are still unaware of the many missions that their pharmacist carries out for their health. It is unfortunately thanks to the Covid-19 health crisis that these were able to be highlighted to patients. Through my thesis I tried to show the evolution of the profession of community pharmacist by relying on Trods and self-tests. Indeed, this task assigned to the pharmacist was highlighted with the Covid-19 pandemic and made it possible to accelerate the expansion of the pharmacist's missions (vaccination, prescription, maintenance, etc.). We will see through my defense that this new task is a supervised and regulated mission which requires that it be carried out or dispensed by the pharmacist to guarantee maximum safety. Indeed, these tests require advice, know-how and guidance based on the interpretation of the result provided by the pharmacist. Although these devices are necessary for prevention and screening, they do not make it possible to make a diagnosis but only provide guidance. Today patients are stakeholders in their health and this is the reason why Trods and self-tests take their place in responsible self-medication. Self-monitoring is becoming the current trend, which promises a bright future for DMDIVs in the years to come. The responsibility of the pharmacist is clearly engaged with these devices because the latent risk is not only physical but also psychological. With these new obligations, the community pharmacist, as a local healthcare professional, sees his responsibility increase in terms of support and communication to empower patients and avoid deviations.
