Objective: in order to strengthen the network "general practitioner-hospital" link, as required by the "ma santé 2022" law, RAPIDO (Réseau d'Aide à la PrIse en charge et d'Orientation) was created in 2020 by the internal medicine department of the CHU of Nîmes. This healthcare program provides consultations in internal medicine within 15 days of the call, for complex pathologies, not requiring emergency care. To develop and improve this network, we asked the main users of the program (general practitioners) to evaluate the procedure. Method: a standardized satisfaction form was sent to the 88 GPs in the Gard, who referred 136 patients for consultations between November 2nd 2020 and November 1st 2021, via the RAPIDO network. Results: among those questioned, 26% (n=23) completed the online survey. 87% of them were "satisfied" with the functioning of RAPIDO and the service provided, with a median overall satisfaction score of 44/55 (SD 3.5 points). Two key areas of potential improvement emerged: the delay before consultation, with a satisfaction score of 3.8/5, and the way of communication of the result of the consultation, since 74% (n=17) would like to receive an e-mail or a phone call in addition to the usual mail. Conclusion: the RAPIDO program is a feasible procedure that was rated positively by general practitioners in the Gard. This survey underlines the importance of shortening the delay for consultation, and the need to improve the current means of communication towards GPs.
