Résumé
The world's population is aging and there is an increase in neurocognitive disorders (NCDs) and disruptive behavior disorders (TDCP). Management is often drugbased, although non-pharmacological interventions are recommended as first-line treatment. Objective: the objective of this review is to list and analyze articles from the international scientific literature on the non-pharmacological management of TDCP in patients with TNC, aged 75 and over, available in general practice. Methods: this was a literature review carried out on the PubMed, Cochrane and Sudoc databases. The extracted data was summarized using a narrative approach. Results: we identified 24 articles containing the following categories of nonpharmacological interventions: aromatherapy, light therapy, music therapy, acupuncture, herbal medicine, massage therapy, therapeutic touch, behavioral management techniques, simulated presence, validation therapy, reminiscence therapy, animal-assisted therapy, personalized activities, specific care units, gestual verbal traitment, therapeutic doll and Snoezelen multi-sensory stimulation. Conclusion: there are a lot of non-pharmacological interventions to act on TDCP. In most of them, we found significant results or a positive effect. But the studies had many limitations and for some interventions, there were few studies dealing with the subject.
