Résumé
Eczema is a common skin condition, particularly during childhood, which takes several forms, all more or less specific to a particular category of patient. Atopic dermatitis is one of them and corresponds to a chronic inflammatory disease that progresses in flare-ups, with varying duration phases of remission. For children, depending on their age, certain areas of the face are more vulnerable to eczema than others. Good compliance and the correct use of each medicinal treatment are essential to maximise the chances of therapeutic success, and the pharmacist's role is to ensure this when dispensing. Non-medicinal treatments can also be proposed to reduce risk factors, manage mild to moderate eczematous attacks or improve the patient's daily life. Indeed, the role of the pharmacist is to take part in the overall management of this condition, so their patients can enjoy a better quality of life and space out their eczematous attacks as much as possible.
