Résumé
After studying the different aspects of ulcerative colitis, it is important to remember that it is an autoimmune, chronic and disabling digestive pathology. An imbalance of intestinal immunity aggravated by external factors seems to be the cause. To allow better management of the disease, conventional treatments and new treatments (biotherapies) exist. At the same time, it is possible for the pharmacy to give appropriate advice on other therapeutic approaches. Listening to the pharmacist is an important factor in the relationship with the patient. The therapeutic education of the latter allows him a better knowledge of his disease and its treatment. On the other hand, a complete and regular training of pharmacists is essential and the implementation of a booklet containing summary sheets can help in an optimal management of these pathologies.
