Résumé
Pleurotus ostreatus is the second most cultivated mushroom in the world. It presents much interest in recent years due to its multiple therapeutic activities. In a context where patients are increasingly looking for natural alternatives with fewer side effects, mycotherapy is of great interest. First, we described Pleurotus ostreatus and discussed its cultivation conditions, nutritional aspects and molecular composition. Then, we studied in a detailed and non-exhaustive manner the different therapeutic activities of this mushroom based on pre-clinical and clinical studies as well as the different associated mechanisms of action.
