Résumé
Currently, we are all exposed to various chemicals in our environment. Although we are not able to see them with the naked eye, the consequences on the health field areable to be seen. Some of these substances have the ability to disrupt the physiological mechanisms of our body in an insidious way, they are found under the name of "endocrine disruptors". Although these substances are present in many areas, we will focus here on studying the major contribution of our exposure: food. We will see through this manuscript, after having learned about the general organization of the endocrine system and the definition of a disruptor, the disastrous consequences that these can have on our health with a multitude of emerging chronic pathologies. We will also see, in a third part, the economic impact generated by this problem as well as the legislative side on a global, European and national scale. Finally, we will end this manuscript with some practical advice, in order to be able, as a citizen, to be actors of our health and thus to make the right choices concerning the food field, or at least, given the ubiquitous nature of substances in the environment, making choices that will have the least negative impact on us.
