Résumé
Drug shortages are at the heart of current public health debates, with a sharp increase in reports of supply tensions and drug shortages in recent years. This thesis looks at the history of shortages, government and political involvement in the issue, and the economic consequences.Shortages often affect a particular drug profile (mature, low-cost), and we will take the example of Amoxicillin, the most widely prescribed antibiotic forvarious bacterial infections, with or without clavulanic acid.
