Objectives: the objective was to analyze the results concerning acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) in children and adolescents and young adults (AYAs) treated at Montpellier University Hospital by evaluation of progression free survival rate (PFS), and the overall survival rate (OS). Secondary objectives were to compare real-world data results with those of patients included in the clinical trials, toxicity, implications of prognostic factors, impact of transplantation and causes of death. Patients and methods: from 2010 to 2021, 175 ALL patients were treated in in the pediatric oncohematology department at Montpellier University Hospital according to the current protocols (EORTC, CAALL, ESPHALL, GRAAL, INTERFANT). Overall treatment intensity was adjusted according to known prognostic factors including the level of minimal residual disease after induction treatment. Results: in our population, PFS and OS were respectively 81.4% (95% CI 75.3-87.9%) and 86.8% (95% CI 81.5-92.5%), without significant difference whether patients were included or treated according to the protocols (p=0.67 for OS and p=0.97 for PFS).We note no excess toxicity whether or not patients are treated within or according to the protocols with 2.3% of death in CR1.
