25 to 45% of children have nutritional difficulties. Studies have shown that oralities develop during early childhood, period during which many children are welcomed into nurseries. Thus, our study questions the relevance of an awareness workshop on orality forchild care givers. Five workshops were offered to nurseries in Hérault. Questionnaires were used to assess these interventions. Despite certain limitations, our results show the interest of these workshops: the participants improve their knowledge of orality and theirsense of competence. Our study shows that speech therapy prevention with early child care givers has to be encouraged and developed.
