Résumé
The thesis explores the importance of nutrition and adaptogenic plants for athletes. It points out that, to improve performance, athletes adopt a balanced diet and dietary supplements, including adaptogenic plants such as ginseng or ashwagandha, renowned for their anti-stress and endurance-supporting properties. However, the use of these plants must be carefully supervised, as they can influence the results of anti-doping tests and falsify the athlete's biological passport data. Pharmacists have a crucial role to play in advising on and preventing the risks associated with these supplements. The thesis also addresses the legislative aspects and responsibilities of health professionals in this context.
