Résumé
This work is the result of a bibliographical research on a herbarium, 45 years old, found in the drugstore of the Faculty of Pharmacy of Montpellier. This herbarium was created in 1977 by a student from the Faculty of Pharmacy of Montpellier during his second year of study. At that time, herbalization was made compulsory in order to move on to the next year. From this herbarium, a digitization was carried out in pairs leading to the creation of a "type sheet". These include, among other things, the main activities of digitized plants identified using current scientific data. The bibliographic research has revealed several plants with an interest in type 2 diabetes. After a brief review of diabetes and more particularly type 2 as well as these usual treatments, three plants with a more extensive bibliography will be examined in depth. These plants are: Datura stramonium L. - Lavandula stoechas L. - Salvia verbenaca L.
