Résumé
The current approach to medicine, which consists of taking care of patients in a reactive manner, no longer corresponds to the needs and behaviors of French people with chronic pathologies. Indeed, the digital revolution and scientific and medical progress are changing the way health is perceived. Thus, it is no longer up to patients to adapt to the French healthcare system, but for the latter to structure itself to respond to new health issues. Consequently, a new concept appeared in the early 2000s, the P4 medicine: Preventive, Predictive, Personalized and Participatory medicine. Its emergence was made possible by the intersection of two major revolutions: systems biology, which makes it possible to decipher the complexity of chronic pathologies, and the digital revolution, which gives access to gigantic amounts of data. However, in order for it to be fully adopted by all healthcare actors, new business models must be developed, and a new value network centered on the patient journey must be put in place. This thesis aims to present the major health issues facing the French and the healthcare system, to define in depth the 4P medicine and to present the value propositions, the business model and the new value network that will favor the emergence of this P4 medicine.
