Résumé
The French healthcare system has often been presented as the best healthcare system in the world. This thesis aims to analyze and compare different health systems, in particular those of France, Germany, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. Through a description of the history and construction of the different systems, this thesis presents the structural and ideological specificities and compares these different countries thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic which has put these systems to the test. For this, the comparison is made according to different figures such as new cases or the number of daily deaths and the direction taken during this crisis. This work therefore aims to put into perspective the different health systems, in particular French, to gain perspective and open the debate on the best health system.
