Endometriosis is a female hormonal pathology, defined by the presence of tissue similar to the uterine lining outside the uterus. It affects approximately 1 in 10 women in France and when symptomatic, causes severe pain that can become very debilitating on a daily basis. Long little known and trivialized, endometriosis has worked more victims than announced. In order to improve care, support competent women with endometriosis and improve research, the government launched a national strategy to combat endometriosis in January 2022. Current public health where many actors have an important role to play in raising awareness of this still poorly understood pathology. This is the case of the community pharmacist and his team, through their proximity to patients, their accessibility and their pharmaceutical knowledge. The management of endometriosis must be global, optimized and personalized for each patient. For this, support care, including herbal medicine, has its place in relieving pain and improving the daily quality of life of qualified women. Endometriosis is a pathology which, thanks to research, information, prevention and support forpatients, has every chance of evolving in the years to come.
