Résumé
This thesis explores the contribution of pharmacists to vaccination, a critical public health issue. While vaccination has eradicated diseases and significantly reduced epidemics, vaccination coverage remains insufficient in France, hindered by organizational, social, and personal barriers. The primary objective of this work is to analyze the expanded responsibilities of pharmacists, recently empowered by regulatory changes to prescribe and administer a wide range of vaccines. The methodology combines a literature review, surveys conducted with healthcare professionals, and an analysis of solutions to overcome identified challenges, such as fear of error, lack of proactive strategies, and time constraints. The results highlight the pivotal role of pharmacists as accessible healthcare providers who can improve access to and adherence to vaccination. The thesis provides concrete recommendations to optimize their involvement and enhance their impact on prevention campaigns, while contributing to greater resilience of the healthcare system during epidemics.
