Résumé
The COVID-19 pandemic and the implementation of the first lockdown in March 2020 led to a wave of fear among the French population, including among health professionals. The very rapid development of an RNA vaccine to fight this virus, and the vaccination obligation for health professionals, further shook the (already fragile) confidence of the French in vaccination. Through this qualitative thesis, and in particular by means of semi-directed interviews, we endeavored to shed light on the feelings of general practitioners in Gard regarding the vaccination obligation against Covid. Although recruiting doctors with different views towards vaccination was difficult, there was broad support for vaccination, which is entirely consistent with the world literature. More critical comments also emerge concerning health policies, the work of the media and the management of a large-scale crisis such as this COVID-19 pandemic. The vaccination obligation appeared, for its part, to have no place in a professional environment like ours where vaccination should be obvious.
