It’s only since 2014 cancer plan that relatives are consider in the relationship with the medical team for a cancer patient. It’s known that relatives are essential for the patient. They are a pillar, a confidant, and frequently become their care givers. They are facing sickness and need to feel include by the professionals. Indeed to be a good care giver the support and guidance of the medical team is essential to help as good as they can. This work aimed to explore the importance a guided and supported care giver made on the patient. Four nurses agreed to talk about their experiences. Most of them agreed on how important the triangular relationship is but they also thought that nurses should be more prepared for that important role.To conclude it would be interesting to research how the guidance, by a nurse, of the relatives of a patient can have an impact on his wellness and his evolution facing cancer.
