Résumé
The operating room is a complex system where artificial intelligence is making increasing promises. This situation has prompted us to question the role of artificial intelligence in the operating room.To address this, we conducted an assessment of the existing artificial intelligence technologies implemented in the operating room by studying relevant literature on the subject. Subsequently, we took the example of and studied the MASSAI project, which develops an alert tool for the operating room based on several artificial intelligence cores. This research demonstrates that artificial intelligence is increasingly being integrated into surgical services, with the majority of feedback from healthcare professionals being positive. In conclusion, it appears that this technology could be capable of assisting healthcare professionals in achieving better mastery of this complex environment.
