Résumé
Over 50% of women suffer from dysmenorrhea, which is a real handicap in everyday life. The pain is most often felt in the abdominal area and may be associated with other types of physical and/or psychological pain. A high concentration of prostaglandins is thought to be the main cause of dysmenorrhea. Pharmacists are trained to offer advice to women suffering from this type of pain. This thesis proposes scientifically validated natural alternatives that can be offered over the counter, using plants and essential oils.
