Résumé
Thora Vingård is a vineyard situated in the south of Sweden more precisely in the Scania region. This region has the majority of the vineyards of the country. The first vines were planted in 2015 with a majority of Solaris resistant variety. This variety is very common in the nordic vineyard and shows issues with an excessive vigour and a low quality production. The vineyard has a main production of white wine from Solaris variety and red wine from Pinot Noir variety. There is also some production of sparkling and botrytis wine from 2023. This dissertation’s experimentation focused on on managing the vigor of the Solaris grape variety. Two modalities were tested: a late defoliation and a no crop thinned. These modalities were compared to a control that represented the usual methods of the vineyard on these practices. The results weren’t conclusive on the significant diferences wether on the vines measures or on the organoleptic profiles. The vineyard can then allow itself to do these practices a little differently without any repercussions on the wine.
