Résumé
The incidence of type 2 diabetes continues to rise in France and around the world. Currently in France, no pharmacological treatment is available for pre-diabetic patients. Patients must be diagnosed as type 2 diabetics in order to receive pharmacological treatment to regulate blood sugar levels. Type 2 diabetes is a chronic disease that progresses generally in a decade. Its prevention is based on lifestyle interventions. Early management of prediabetes can reduce or even delay the onset of new cases of type 2 diabetes. This thesis aims to raise awareness among healthcare professionals of their role in preventing type 2 diabetes, and to provide them with the information they need to do so. It is particularly aimed at dispensing pharmacists, whose positions bring them into close contact with patients and can advise them personalized products such as dietary supplements.
