The French HealthTech start-up ecosystem is a complex terrain, where the worlds of healthcare and finance converge. Entrepreneurs from the world of healthcare and venture capitalists are joining forces to create the start-ups of tomorrow. The France 2030 plan aims to position France as a world leader in healthcare innovation. As a result, a number of initiatives are emerging to support start-ups: Bpifrance, competitiveness clusters, public-private partnerships and accelerators. Although the challenges for entrepreneurs are numerous, they are not insurmountable. A thorough understanding of the environment and the right support can enable entrepreneurs to turn their ideas into reality, helping to advance health and innovation in France and beyond.
