The objective of this thesis is to analyze the market access steps for multiple indication cancer drugs and how to optimize their launch in France. Market access is becoming increasingly important in the launch of new drugs, particularly in the field of oncology. Each step of the market access process in France must be analyzed in depth to ensure a satisfactory reimbursement rate and price for the pharmaceutical company that has committed large sums of money and risk to develop its drug, but also to ensure that the payer knows that the price it pays is fair. A best practice guide is not what this thesis aims to be, but rather to give the reader an understanding of all the steps necessary to get to market and thus enable them to consider them all. This thesis will also look at possible changes in the market access process in France. To be fully prepared for the launch of a drug in the near future, it is also necessary to anticipate possible changes in the regulatory and institutional environment. To do so, an overview of the medico-technical evaluation in France will be presented first, then a literature review will give clues on how to navigate the French and European market access process and finally a questionnaire sent to pharmaceutical industry executives will be analyzed in order for those working in the field of market access to give their opinion on what is a successful launch and how to optimize the current process for multiple indication oncology drugs.
