Contraception is a Universal subject, affecting both women and men thanks to scientific advances in recent years. In this thesis, we'll look at the various contraceptive methods available and those currently under study. The association between the contraceptive pill and thromboembolic risk will also be developed. A questionnaire was created for this thesis to measure the population's overall knowledge of contraception. A lack of knowledge about contraception was observed. The role of the dispensing pharmacist, a local healthcare professional, will be detailed in relation to contraception, associated dispensing and the transmission of essential information to patients.
