The COVID-19 pandemic had a strong impact on the organization of the healthcare system, furthermore diabetic patients are at risk of developing severe forms of this infection. Objective: to measure the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on outpatient therapeutic education programs for diabetic patients. Material and method: descriptive and analytical quantitative study. A telephone interview was conducted with outpatient programs for diabetic patients presents on the "My ETP" site, and practicing in the Provences-Alpes Côte d'Azur and Occitanie regions.Results: 31 programs participated in our study. There is a very marked drop in median annual activity in 2020 (20 patients/year) and 2021 (30), compared to that of 2019 (50). We observe that the median duration of recovery from the start of the first confinement is 6 months. We are witnessing an emergence of the proposal of e-session which corresponded to only 3% of our total sample before the pandemic at a proportion of 22.5%. 4 programs didnt resume activity in 2022. Conclusion: the ETP programs which were least weakened by the COVID-19 pandemic are those which had a greater basic activity which allowed a more rapid recovery and the implementation of distancing.
