Résumé
Antibiotic resistance is the fourth leading cause of death in hospitals in France. It represents 5,500 deaths per year today and projections estimate that it will be responsible for 238,000 deaths by 2050.This phenomenon has been largely accelerated by the use and misuse of antibiotics. Resistant infections are becoming more and more complex to treat and the use of broad-spectrum antibiotics being more effective on resistant bacteria but generating more resistance create a downward spiral. After the development of the generalities on infections and bacteria, antibiotics and the main resistances in France, the different consequences of antibiotic resistance in France will be explained and the public health plans and strategies. One of the objectives of these public actions is to improve the proper use of antibiotics, which can be achieved using prescription support tools. They represent an adequate way to curb the problem of antibiotic resistance by helping healthcare professionals in their practice according to the current recommendations. These tools will be developed in this thesis to understand how and in what context they were conceived and created to conclude with possible improvements for their future development.
