Résumé
Androgenic alopecia affects many men and women. In a society where physical appearance is predominant, it can have a significant psychosocial impact and lead to the search for solutions. In this work, we will review the biological knowledge of the pilosebaceous follicle and the different types of hair loss in order to distinguish androgenetic alopecia. We will then detail its complex and multifactorial etiologies (androgenic, genetic, epigenetic, environmental). Finally, we will discuss the different current solutions, whether they are medicinal or not, their respective efficacy, their advantages and disadvantages.
