Résumé
The treatments for Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) patients show the present challenges implied by chronical diseases. The choice for a long-term maintenance treatment for patients suffering from moderate to severe states is more than ever an evolutive and complexe approach. We must nowadays propose new therapeutic consensus, leading durable control of the pathology as well as patients quality of life. The progress made in parmaceutical formulations have allowed to consider a transposition from the hospital treatment to an everyday-life compatible form. The gastroenterology department of the CHU of Montpellier has organised in 2022 the therapeutic switch of an intraveinous administration at the hospital of infliximab and vedolizumab to a simple subcutaneous injection from home. The presented study is a feedback on this new therapeutic organisation, in order to evaluate the impact that could thus be considered on important challenges of our health system such as the upgrade of the quality of life of a patient with IBD, the symptomatology’s control, and the gain in efficiency in our health system.
