Résumé
Today, cochlear implant technologies are really efficient and allow newly people implanted to get strong auditory perfomance in silent conditions. However, listening in adverse conditions can still create a great discomfort and tiredness for implanted people. Besides, we, according to scientific littérature, we can observe the involvment of working memory in the comprehension of oral message, and even more for this population. Knowing that, we decided to train three cochlear implanted people’s working memory to mesure the consequences on listening in noise and on listening effort in daily life. On one hand, our results show that the working memory training we proposed improves the central executive abilities. On the other hand, there is not a lot of modifications for listening performances in adverse conditions. However two participants tell us felling more aware and self confident about their memory and listening habilities.
