Meta-organization with multi-governance are co-governed by several independent organizations. Organizational and geographical distances encourage them to set up virtual teams on a large scale. These organizations of heterogeneous actors adopt a particular control mode. In addition to the inter-organizational relation, their control system is combined with an informal horizontal interactive control. The e-collaboration is their important way of work. The boundary objects play an important role in the informal interactive control and in the e-collaboration, beyond organizational boundaries, geographical and temporal.
