Transcription factors are important for the orchestration of genome expression in time and space. Despite their essential functions, direct observation and biophysical modeling of their behavior in the nucleus is still largely unknown. The aim of this thesis is to combine molecular biology and high-resolution microscopic approaches to determine the three-dimensional molecular dynamics of transcription factors in the nuclei of plant cells (Arabidopsis thaliana).
