Résumé
I will synthesize my work by highlighting the varying and invariant processes of growth. My work concerns temperate and Mediterranean trees and, on the tropical side, wild species of coffee trees. I use the GreenLab structure-function model to highlight the interspecific variability of biomass allocation between stem (pith and secondary growth) and leaves. My research project focuses on the architectural features of adaptation to the environment. The results contribute to a better understanding of the maintenance of trees in their natural environment.
