Abstract
The proposed research theme is topical and focuses on the attractiveness and uniqueness of Tangier'sthe attractiveness and uniqueness of Tangier's industrial fabric. This theme raises the question of the knock-on effects of public and private investment in a highly attractive business zone. From this stems an important question on which this thesis project is based. The aim is to understand how local production organisations are coping with the massive influx of foreign investment. The area's specialisation in the automotive industry means that these companies and their organisational practices have had to undergo major upgrading. At the same time, the agglomeration effects observed in the area are leading to social risks and substitution effects in the use of industrial labour. This reality calls for a more detailed exploration of the links that determine the performance of productive organisations in the zone.
