Résumé
Quasi-3D model SHORECIRC simulates circulation on simple nearshore domains. It is modified in order to handle realistic bathymetries : beaches with complex shoreline and/or emerged structures. Added improvements are validated against other models and measurements on various configurations. New SHORECIRC version is then applied to the study of the circulation dynamics of Leucate, a sandy beach of Languedoc- Roussillon (France) with crescentic bars.
