Résumé
The goal of this project is to characterize the silica nanocylinders filled with water and ions having various chaotropic and kosmotropic properties with total X-ray scattering coupled with Pair Distribution Function (PDF) analysis as well as appropriate modelling. The results will give structural information such as the density profile within the pores and enabling a better fundamental understanding of the structural properties of water confined in the presence of ions in nanoconfinement.
