Résumé
We present a petrographic and geochemical dataset acquired on carbonated serpentinites and listvenites from Oman Drilling Project Hole BT1B (Semail Ophiolite, Oman). The overarch aim of data acquisition was to characterize elemental mobility, the contribution of the rock precursor and changes in fluid compositions during the pervasive carbonation of serpentinized peridotites to listvenites. This dataset includes: i) petrographical information (mineral abundance, occurrence of microstructures described in details in the related paper), and ii) major and trace element mineral compositions measured by EMP and HR-LA-ICPMS.
