Résumé
Replication data for the article "Au@mSiO2 nanocomposites with enlarged pores for protein transport" This article deals with the preparation of nanoparticles containing a gold core surrounded by mesoporous silica with large pores (materials M1-M11), in order to load proteins for nanomedicine application. Materials M1-M11 were produced by two different synthetic approaches. The best material M8 was fully characterized by SEM, TEM, N2-sorption, and the accessibility of the pores was probed by AFM. M8 was loaded with two diffrent proteins, HorseRadish Peroxidase and Red Fluorescent protein, showing the possible encapsulation within the pores.
