A library of transposable elements (TEs) was obtained de novo from the AalbF5 genome of Aedes albopictus. TE discovery was performed independently with RepeatModeler2 and EDTA. The two libraries obtained with these tools were concatenated and curated with MCHelper in fully automated mode. Finally, consensi that did not have any match with RepeatMasker were removed from the library. The final library consists of 7713 consensus sequences.
